About Archives Space

Welcome to HPL's Archives Space! Archives Space is a searchable database for unique, historical items - such as letters, reports, diaries, and photographs - organized into descriptive documents called finding aids. Consider these an extended table of contents which describe unique materials only available in the archival repositories of the Houston Public Library. In most cases, the collections themselves are NOT available online. Please contact us if you have any questions!
