Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The collection is comprised of files regarding Mark Ellis's terms in office. The files cover issues in which Ellis worked on or led committees. There are files regarding city council agendas, pension reform, budgets, fiscal affairs, competitive services and the Houston civility ordinance. There are also files on the Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Texas which was an issue that Mark Ellis personally advocated for. Most of the files are dedicated to issues that were addressed through District F and community improvement projects. There are also articles and newsletters that came from the District F office, as well as newsletters and articles about the district. There are scrapbooks files which are composed of clippings of articles and photographs.
