Houston Anti-Viet Nam War Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of printed material, much of which was published by the Students for a Democratic Society, a leading anti-war organization commonly known by its acronym "SDS". The documents, newsletters, and other publications in this collection establish the national and international opposition to the war and place local opposition to it in Houston within a proper context. This collection also established the historic connection between opposition to the war and opposition to discrimination based on race or gender.
