Biographical / Historical
Reen’s Beauty Salon was founded in 1978 in Houston, Texas by Odie Reen Foweler. It was located at 4574 Griggs Road. Odie was born on February 2, 1936 and graduated from Franklin Beauty School during the 1960-1961 term. She worked in hair care for over 60 years servicing clients using a variety of Reen’s hair products during the mid to late twenieth century.
