Biographical / Historical
Diana Fallis was the first African American female anchor in primetime in Houston. She anchored the weekends on ABC 13 Houston (KTRK) and sat in a lot for ABC13-Dave Ward from 1973-1983. She also did a segment called "Strictly Personal" on Live at Five. Diana was also a founder and Editor-in-Chief of Houston Newspages website.

The Diana Fallis collection contains photographs of her activities. Many of the image are individual or group shots of social events and daily life of Diana Fallis from 1970 to 1990.
Custodial History
These records were formerly housed at the Houston Metropolitan Research Center, Houston Public Library as MSS380 Diana Fallis Collection and were transferred to the African American Library at the Gregory School, Houston Public Library in April 2019.
