Biographical / Historical
Roy Cosey was a Sargent in Harris County Sheriff department during the 1960s. Cosey was born August 2, 1933, in Harris County, Texas to William Cosey and Serena Hayes. While little is known about his life, his family resided in Houston's fourth ward for an unknown period. He was an Army Private during the Korean War, specific details surrounding his military service are unknown. He died on April 24, 1999 and is buried in the Houston National cemetery.
