Biographical / Historical
Francis Page, Sr. (1938-2002) was business man and newspaper publisher for the Houston Newspages, a weekly publication that provides news and society happenings for the black community. Born in the Acres Homes area, he eventually graduated with a business degree from Texas Southern University. Page founded several businesses including one of the first Burger King Franchises, the Red Rooster Club, the 1894 Bar, Page Bar Supply, MacGregor Management, the Page Group, and the Almeda Center.
