Julia Ideson Postcard Collection

Scope and Contents This collection contains 9548 postcards, many of which were purportedly collected during Julia Ideson's travels. Both American and European locations are prominently featured. In addition to individual cards, ther are also booklets of postcards, and other travel-related pamphlets. The bulk of the postcards are undated and were not mailed. Some do contain messages, while a smaller number also include postmarks with dates. Most of the postcards appear to be from Ideson's lifetime....

Content Description The Paul Hester Photographs contains three major groups:Series A: Using a retrofitted R. B. Cycle Graphic from the Folmer and Schwing Division of the Eastman Kodak Co., Hester teamed with Curtis Beane and a writer on a project to photograph locations that had been shown in early 1900s panoramic photos in various HMRC collections.
