Scope and Contents The Edwin A. Bonewitz Papers is a small holding of manuscripts, maps, drawings, correspondence, and notes of a lay historian relating to the history of Texas and especially Houston during the Republic and early statehood periods. Although Bonewitz researched most of his adult life, the collection consists of material he compiled after 1950; the rest was destroyed. After Ed's death in 1969, his brother Fred Bonewitz deposited these remaining papers with the Houston Public Library....

Scope and Contents The Elizabeth Montgomery Photo Collection is comprised of fifteen scanned images. Each of the images scanned were assigned a unique identifier number and scanned in numerical order based on the numbers given. The scanned images are stored digitally at the Gregory School. The collection consists of images of a Douglas Elementary music class, Franklin Beauty School Graduates, and family photos.

Scope and Contents The Matthew W. Dogan Elementary collection span the years from 1949-1995, with the bulk of materials dating from 1949-1961. The collection features the dedication and opening of Matthew W. Dogan Elementary School and the operations under the first principal Mabel Kilpatrick. Scrapbooks illustrate the exterior and interior campus progress since 1959 and the faculty.
