Carmen Cortes Papers
Chat-an-Hour Social and Cultural Club Records
The Chat-an-Hour Social Club Records documents the activites of the organization from 1949-1981. It contains a pamphlet a single photograph and mostly meeting minutes. Meeting minutes are incomplete, as some were either lost or misplaced at the time of donation.

Ethel Ransom Art and Literary Club
The Ethel Ransom Art and Literary Club records documents the activities of the club from 1927-1935. Items include meeting minute and a membership list. Materials are Xerox copies of the Club's earliest records which were donated under the presidential tenure of Claudia J. Lewis.

Houston Organizations Collection
This collection contains materials from a wide variety of clubs and organizations in Houston. The types of materials include directories and yearbooks, newsletters, programs, by-laws, memos, brochures, bulletins and scrapbooks. The types of organizations include charitable, service, civic, gardening, recreational, religious, literature, study, political and social. Many of the organizations from the early to mid 20th century are women's clubs.
Houston Philosophical Society Records
The Houston Philosophical Society Records contain a small ledger with meeting minutes and a large scrapbook with speeches, meeting notes, and a few newspaper clippings. The collection also includes several additional meeting notes and speeches given by members and guests of the Society and some correspondence.
Houston Young Women's Christian Association Records
This collection is comprised of organizational records, scrapbooks, and correspondence related to the Houston YWCA and Blue Triangle Branch. Of note are board meeting minutes and the financial records of the organization.
Mrs. A. T. Carleton Collection
This collection contains correspondence, reports, yearbooks, and publications pertaining to Mrs. Carleton’s participation in local, state and national women’s organizations. The collection also contains several boxes of photographs of family, friends, and club activities. In addition there are seven scrapbooks containing photographs and newspaper articles.

The Texas Association of Women’s Clubs, Houston Branch collection contains the history of the City Federation of Women's Clubs from 1957-1985. It contains meeting minutes, funeral programs, year books, convention programs, correspondence, a handbook, plaque, and photographs documentinng their activities.
