This collection contains the organizational records of the Museo Guadalupe Aztlan and the personal memoirs of Jesus Cantu Medel, Founder and Director of Museo Guadalupe Aztlan. A large portion of this collection includes the program planning notes and flyers for the Museo’s signature events: the Cine Cuauhtemoc Pan American Film Festival, Dia de los Muertos Annual Celebration, Raza Youth Conference, and Sembradores de Aztlan Oral History Project.

Content Description This collection consists of 6 boxes of Sarah Cortez' writing, including poetry, stories, journal articles, newspaper clippings, publications, published books, her master's thesis, as well as her personal correspondence from the 1970s to the 2000s. Many of her works reflect her experiences a a police woman in Houston, Texas. A significant portion of the personal correspondence is between Sarah Corez and Susan H. (Lee) Klimczak.
